The Nova Siri Holiday Village beach and Scuba Diving School

The Nova Siri beach is one of the most beautiful and clean beaches in Basilicata and southern Italy, idea both for children who love to play in the sand and for those who would like to explore the local seabed or simply appreciate one of the most beautiful sunsets in southern Italy.

Nova Siri Holiday Village clients have two free sunbeds with an umbrella (per room), a bar kiosk with snacks and refreshments upon payment, a play area for children and a sports area for adults.

Our guests can reach the beach on foot by crossing the pinewood or using the free shuttle service offered by the holiday village.

Diving Center

The Nova Siri Diving Center, P.A.D.I. with its instructors who have many years of experience in the seas of the world, offers guests scuba diving courses for all ages and all levels. The courses are on payment and last 5 days, with a final certification which will allow you to dive all over the world. For beginners, there is a free 20-minute trial at the pool bottom.

Activated courses include:

• Bubble Maker and Seal Team for children 8 years old and up
• Junior Open Water Diver and Junior Advance Open Water Diver for children from 10 to 14 years old
• Courses for adults, Open Water Diver which qualifies you for diving in open water (not grottoes or caves) at a maximum depth of 18 meters
• Advance Open Water qualifies you up until a depth of 30 meters
• Rescue Diver teaches basic techniques and water rescue
• Diver Master – assistant instructor which is the first professional license

For course participants, the diving center makes the necessary equipment available on a first come, first serve basis. The Nova Siri Holiday Village also organizes special underwater courses such as underwater photography and biology.
